Michelle Wildgruber Raku Artist Michelle's interest in art developed early. The act of creating art was a powerful way to express her feelings of life. She realized her affinity with clay and the earth. She developed a profound interest in clay, more specifically Raku Pottery. Her work is heavily influenced by natural forms and lines. The Raku firing technique is unique, and it lets her achieve spectacular colors that look metallic. Enjoying the challenge of being self-taught, she has successfully worked with a wide range of mediums includingacrylic, watercolor, pastels, photography, and pottery.
